Application for Practical Training in PAPS, HPV & STI Testing – Part 2
About the training
This 2.5-hour in-person/hands-on course is for licensed healthcare providers who want hands-on/practical training in routine gynecological care.
This course teaches how to perform internal bi-manual pelvic exams, screening PAPS and HPV/ STI testing in clinical practice.
Students will take part in 8 screening PAPs, advancing from speculum insertion to the completion of 4 supervised screening PAPs on their own. HPV sample collection and STI testing will be completed during the screening PAP visits.
This course will teach you how to incorporate this service into your practice, and give you the tools and confidence you need to start offering this to your patients.

After you submit your application, we will contact you within 2 to 3 business days to determine the dates for your training.
Subsequent to choosing a training date, a confirmation email with a link to payment will be sent. You will have 48 hours to complete payment, or the training date will be released.
After the practical training is complete, you will be required to complete the online self-assessment to receive your course certification.
